Earth Ball; went to the Earth Ball yesterday, a fund-raising event for the S & R Greenway Trust, the one that I am a volunteer for and which strives to preserve important land and clean streams and rivers. Very worthy.
It was held at a private house near Princeton. Attended by 250 people. Or should I say, it was held in the pool house of a private house. Yes, a pool house, an eight-bedroom pool house. This is clearly how the 1% live. Or, to be more accurate, the 0.1%.
Bill was playing with his band. Very good, although it is the first time that I have heard a bluegrass version of U2's 'One'.
Met some good contacts, including the McCanaughy's who rune the Double Brook Farm here in Hopewell, a very serious organic operation - see http://blog.doublebrookfarm.com/ if you are at all interested in this subject.
